James Burke Jarreau is a Texas litigation attorney based in Dallas. He earned his J.D. from California Western School of Law in San Diego after completing his undergraduate studies at Baylor University, where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Corporate Investment and Finance. During law school, he participated in practical-skills training through the STEPPS Program and worked as a certified law student under attorney supervision, gaining early courtroom and client-service experience.
After law school, James returned to Texas and began developing his litigation practice through work on high-stakes civil matters. In South Texas, he worked with Thomas J. Henry's high-stakes commercial personal injury litigation team in Corpus Christi, where he gained experience with trucking, commercial-vehicle, and serious-injury litigation. He later continued building his trial and case-development experience in Dallas, including work involving medical malpractice and complex civil disputes.
James now works with AbsolutLaw in Dallas, where his practice centers on complex litigation, with an emphasis on business litigation and disputed commercial matters.
